AJA 2018 AGM August 22, 2018

The 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the AJA of SA will be held at the Ginza Miyako Japanese Restaurant in the Stamford Plaza Hotel in North terrace. As usual it will be a dinner meeting and is also when the AJA Committee for 2018/19 is selected and announced. The venue is the same as in previous years and the price will be held at a subsidised $45 for members and $50 for non-members. The invitation flyers will be going out soon, once we have finalised some details, but you can book in before that if you wish. The Miyako has limited seating in the Japanese section, so don’t leave it too late to reserve your place. We will have special guests from the Japanese Consulate in Melbourne and from the new State Government, as well as some songs from our own Kimono Choir. The Committee hopes you can be with us, and, as well, if you are interested in joining our committee, see President Jim for a nomination form, or any committee member for information on what is involved in such a position.
