Setsubun Mamemaki

AJA Kaiwa Club was on the Tue, 5 Feb. We celebrated one of the Japanese Traditions called Setsubun Mamemaki ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Setsubun )

The tradition symbolises casting out the bad to make way for the good to enter your life. We enjoyed the symbolic act of casting out of the bad by throwing shelled peanuts at the people who wore Oni Devils masks. After that we ate the peanuts and had a chat. It was a lot of fun!
